Today in Relief Society we talked about Prayer & Revelation. I have been thinking a lot about how I will say my prayers but it's like I have a checklist. Please bless Chad, family, friends, the missionaries...etc. I don't want it to sound like vain repetition, but I really do want the Lord to bless these people! Well, today Laney made a comment on this very thing. She said on her mission someone came and spoke and he talked on prayer. He said that we don't need to go through our checklist, but rather each night before you kneel down and pray, think about 2 or 3 people to focus on, and pray specifically for them. The Lord knows our desires and even if we don't voice those other people He will bless them. This is why it is so important to always have a prayer in your heart. I loved this advice and I just thought I would share. :-)

I love this post! I find myself getting a little repetitive sometimes and it is good to hear things like this. Thanks!
I too get repetitive with my prayers. There have been many times I have just said my prayers lying down. But reading this makes me think again what I should be doing and that it is such a blessing to have the lord in our lives. Thanks for sharing your feelings on this post.
Found ya. Inevitable, huh? Ammon thinks you are the coolest wife to your husband ever since you also golf!
Oh I really like that. I love you girl! I am so glad you have a blog. We need to play sometime this summer!
